In the Fall of 2003, Keough created and launched E-Structors, a firm specializing in the secure destruction and recycling of computers and electronics. Keough designed and constructed a state of the art system using separate but existing technologies, mostly borrowed from the document destruction side of the industry. A material shredding system was designed and installed, along with a separating machine known as an eddy-current system. In 2004 Keough added a document destruction line to E-Structors' services, making it the only firm in the country that handles both electronics and document destruction.
